My artistic research originates from a simple and radical question: what would the world be without words?
A word is not merely a tool: it is origin. It is what makes thought real.
From this reflection, my work unfolds. I explore language as a structure of identity, a trace of memory, a bridge between experience and thought.
My process is manual, physical—almost liturgical: I apply letters one by one onto metal panels, building surfaces dense with meaning and stratification.
Each letter is a living mark, a fragment that joins with others to form a visual body.
The single letter does not matter; what matters is the harmony that emerges from their encounter—a subtle dance between space and sign, between chaos and an underlying order.
People often call me “the man of letters”: my works redefine the role of language in contemporary art, freeing it from the traditional play between signifier and signified, from graphic dynamism and pure aesthetics, elevating it to an absolute generative principle.
In my work, the letter becomes the primordial matrix of form, just as in the real world it is the origin of every narrative.
I firmly believe that language is the invisible thread that binds humanity together—a force that shapes reality and transforms thought into vision.
Without words: nothing.
With words: infinity.
La mia Ricerca - IT
La mia ricerca nasce da una domanda semplice e radicale: che cosa sarebbe il mondo senza parole?
La parola non è soltanto uno strumento: è origine. È ciò che rende reale il pensiero.
Da questa riflessione si sviluppa il mio lavoro: esploro il linguaggio come struttura dell’identità, traccia della memoria, ponte tra esperienza e pensiero.
Il mio processo è manuale, fisico, quasi liturgico: applico lettere una a una su pannelli metallici, costruendo superfici dense di significato e di stratificazioni.
Ogni lettera è un segno vivo, un frammento che si unisce agli altri fino a formare un corpo visivo: non conta la singola lettera, ma l’armonia che nasce dal loro incontro — una danza sottile tra spazio e segno, tra caos e ordine nascosto.
Spesso mi chiamano “l’uomo delle lettere”: le mie opere ridefiniscono il valore del linguaggio nell’arte contemporanea, liberandolo dal gioco tra significante e significato, dal dinamismo grafico e dalla pura forma estetica, per innalzarlo a principio generativo assoluto.
Nelle mie opere, la lettera è la matrice primordiale della forma, così come nel mondo reale è l’origine di ogni narrazione.
Credo fermamente che il linguaggio sia il filo invisibile che unisce l’umanità, a forza che plasma la realtà e trasforma il pensiero in visione.
